Excitement and innovation are in the air within the ClassView community this month, with a plethora of new projects and engaging activities taking centre stage!
The recent month brought a wave of excitement as I-Immersive proudly saw some of our projects and collaborations shine brightly in the spotlight of FE celebrations. In February, colleges across the nation celebrate National Apprenticeship Week 2024, by showcasing the positive influence apprenticeships have on individuals, businesses, and the economy as a whole. As March rolled in, colleges joined forces to celebrate Colleges Week, an annual event highlighting the outstanding contributions colleges make on a national level.

Harlow College Introduces Cutting-Edge Immersive Spaces During Colleges Week
To coincide with Colleges Week educators from Harlow College Institute of Technology participated in exciting training with the use of AI tools to enhance their teaching, learning, and assessment practices. Training took place in conjunction with the launch of ClassView Immersive Classrooms. The interactive sessions saw the introduction to the ClassView Platform, a revolutionary tool that seamlessly connects immersive classrooms across both Harlow College and Stansted Airport College, to facilitate collaborative learning and enrich the curriculum. This innovative approach allows for real-time interaction and engagement between teachers and students, fostering authentic collaborative learning experiences.
Harlow College said:
"It was fantastic to see our ClassView immersive rooms within our new Institute of Technology in action! A revolutionary learning environment that links immersive classrooms to enhance collaborative learning and enrich curriculum across locations at Harlow College and Stansted Airport College. LSIF Project underway at North East Surrey College of Institute of Technology
The LSIF Project is making great progress at the new Skills Park Lobby at North East Surrey College Institute of Technology, where the Immersive Classrooms will be installed alongside cutting-edge technologies. The new IoT campus at Nescot, will provide training in digital technologies, robotics, cyber security, AI, networking, cloud computing and more. Known for attracting students from London, Surrey, and across the southeast, North East Surrey College Institute of Technology is a innovative further and higher education institution.

We have Tenstar Simulation AB units due for arrival soon and capital works taking place in our Skills Park Lobby where our Igloo Vision cylinder and I-Immersive collaboration rooms will be installed! Transformation at Bradford College is complete, marking a significant milestone in the project's journey.
Excitement filled the air as project contributors at Bradford College, added the finishing touches in the Immersive Classroom. The spaces now boast a futuristic ambiance with the addition of sleek LED lighting provided by Aura LED Lighting.

"Excited to share the incredible transformation of our innovation room! It's now ready to host immersive content delivery and collaboration sessions with other colleges. We are eager to use this space to connect with partner schools in Poland, Romania, and Weston College as part of our Global Learning project. West London College Launch Immersive Classrooms at National Apprenticeship Week
Around 200 West London College students joined a series of workshops to kick off National Apprenticeship Week 2024. Students were introduced to apprenticeships as career options in the colleges three brand new, state-of-the-art immersive classrooms. A multimedia presentation was simultaneously transmitted from Hammersmith and Fulham College’s immersive classroom to the immersive classrooms installed at Ealing Green College and Southall Community College.
The Immersive Ultra Classroom spaces installed across all of West London College's three campuses will allow them to connect and adopt innovative XR and VR technology enabling experiential learning models. As well as connect with each other to support curriculum equity and enhancement across the wider ClassView community.
I-Immersive are excited to have won the contract award for the Local London Partnership to deliver Immersive Classrooms across a further 14 colleges and sixth-form schools.
Matt Fawcett, Deputy Principal Planning, Partnerships & Projects said:
"The £400,000 project is just the beginning of the college’s commitment to revolutionising the entire learning environment. Through this technology, our students will be able to link, in real-time, to specialist environments worldwide, as well as our other colleges – allowing them to collaborate directly with experts in their field."

USP College Deliver Impactful Session at Digifest 2024 - Showcasing Pioneering Research
USP College delivered an insightful presentation at the Digifest Conference 24, hosted by Jisc. Andy Martin, XTEND Digital Campus Manager and, Dan Pearson CEO showcased their pioneering VR Campus research project. USP College journey began with the ClassView Immersive Classrooms, of which the network is growing by the day. USP are excited to introduce a new innovative approach allowing colleges across the UK to access and share live teaching sessions. By integrating Virtual Reality, they aim to augment and enrich immersive learning methods already in place, setting a new standard for educational practices.
