Bradford College: ESOL students dive into immersive underwater worlds and participate in virtual job interviews.

ESOL students were the first to immerse themselves in the immersive classroom space. They participated in a session utilising content from Metaverse Learning, allowing them to hone their job interview skills in a lifelike setting. This experience not only enhanced their language proficiency but also bolstered their confidence and employability prospects.

This month also saw Bradford College delivering another engaging learning experience from their Immersive Classroom, taking ESOL students on a captivating journey exploring the depths of the oceans. Immersed in vibrant underwater environments, they marvelled at sea life while engaging in discussions about conservation and threats. The students were left eager and inspired to make a difference.

i-Transform XR Training programme kicks off with Bradford College

Robert Bailey, the Digital Learning Manager, and Muhammad-Ismaeel (Ish) Mirza, the Digital Learning Technologist, from the i-Transform team, were thrilled to kick off day 1 of the i-Transform XR training programme at Bradford College alongside their colleagues from USP College.

The comprehensive training programme, condenses the standard i-Transform training, focusing on key areas to equip users with the knowledge to leverage VR's potential in education and create immersive learning experiences within their Immersive Classroom Ultra.

The first day of training delved into engaging subjects like the integration of VR in education, mastering the ClassView Platform, utilising interactive whiteboards with Miro, and personalising learning experiences with VR Campus.

It only took 10 days to completely transform the traditional teaching space, and the immersive classroom was officially unveiled in April 2024. Learn more about the transformation at Bradford College here: Immersive Transformation at Bradford College: A 10-Day Journey

We look forward to see more developments and innovative practices from the i-Transform Team and Bradford College.
