Spring has arrived, bringing with it outstanding examples innovation across the ClassView Network of colleges who are leveraging their Connected Immersive Spaces to support cross-campus delivery, successfully sharing learning resources and overcoming recruitment challenges to create new learning opportunities that are helping to foster industry-relevant skills.
Leading the way in bringing industry into the classroom New City College delivered a series of career pathway sessions, hosting a series of cross-campus and college connected sessions from their immersive rooms with inspiring speakers from industry such as Jet2, Concord Hotels, and Nationwide Building Society, providing career insights and opportunities to students for roles in Customer Service, Hospitality, Travel and Media.
HRUC (Harrow, Richmond & Uxbridge Colleges), have launched the first of a series of Immersive Talks for students and career pathways as they welcomed The Apprentice winner last month to deliver an inspirational talk on entrepreneurialism.
Robert Bailey, our Head of Digital Learning from our Digital Transformation team has been visiting colleges across the ClassView community to deliver training and development to build on cross-campus delivery using the connected immersive classrooms. The I-Immersive team are delighted to see so many colleges progressing through our iTransform training program from Bronze to Gold.

Innovate North: Shaping the Future of Education
We are excited to share an opportunity to attend Innovate North: Shaping the Future of Education on 12th June, a free event hosted and organised by Bradford College. During the interactive sessions, Bradford College will share how they have embraced technology to transform teaching and learning. Attendees can take part in hands-on sessions led by digital leaders and gain insights from Bradford College's innovative technology partners. The I-Immersive team will be there on the day and participating in the 'Immersive Learning in Action' session.

Delivering Digital Transformation with Northampton College
Our Head of Digital Learning Robert Bailey, spends much of his time visiting colleges across the ClassView community to deliver training to empower college staff with digital skills to help them on their transformation journey.
Last month Robert had fantastic day at Northampton College delivering i-Transform Bronze training in their brand new Immersive Classrooms. These connected digital classrooms open up so many exciting opportunities for cross campus lessons between the college's Booth Lane and Daventry campuses, as well as connecting with over 100 partners on the ClassView Network. The college will also be able to host a range of masterclasses from external guest speakers and industry experts to enrich their students' learning.
The full-day's training explored the incredible potential of these spaces, learning how to maximise the classroom's cutting-edge technology for engaging lessons. Next month the team will be continuing the journey together to cover the i-Transform Silver training.
Excellence in Cross Campus Collaboration with USP College
Robert Bailey Head of Digital Learning and Christel McCarthy Head of Transformation from for the I-Immersive Transformation team, visited USP College to deliver a collaborative session with their fantastic Digital Learning Team. Having joined I-Immersive from USP College, where they worked for many years, this session was a great opportunity to reconnect with former colleagues and learn about developments at USP College.
The hands-on session focused on the exciting cross-campus capabilities of their immersive classrooms. During the session the team delved into the ClassView technology powering the immersive spaces, that serves as the backbone of the immersive spaces. The team engaged in open discussions on best practices for leveraging the technology experience effectively, such as the interactive whiteboards, facilitating sessions, providing technical support, and crafting engaging immersive lessons.
USP College has been at the forefront of cross-campus delivery, and it was inspiring to learn about the team's dedication to digital transformation.
HRUC Hosts Apprentice Winner for Inspiring Immersive Talk
HRUC (Harrow, Richmond & Uxbridge Colleges) showcased innovation at its finest by hosting their first Immersive Talk with Apprentice winner and entrepreneur Harpreet Kaur.
The inspirational session took place during Colleges Week (3 – 7 March), Harpreet spoke to students across several campuses connected students across multiple campuses, through their cutting-edge Immersive Room technology and ClassView.
Harpreet Kaur's tall encouraged the students, predominantly from the College’s business courses, to pursue their ambitions and overcome barriers - while reinforcing the importance of resilience and determination in entrepreneurship.
New City College: Connecting Students to Career Pathways with ClassView
In March, New City College successfully launched their career pathways series of cross-college and campus sessions for students, bringing industry into the classroom. Muhammad-Ismaeel, Group Digital Learning Manager from New City College showcased a series of innovative examples of cross campus collaboration using ClassView and their immersive rooms.
New City College has set a new standard in industry collaboration by bringing in expert speakers from leading industry brands to deliver insightful sessions providing invaluable career advice on pathways and experiences.
Taking the Immersive Room to New Heights with Jet2 & Concord
As part of the career pathways sessions New City College welcomed Jet2 to deliver an engaging talk from their Immersive space. Students at Epping Forrest were connected to students at Havering Sixth form through their immersive rooms and the ClassView Network. Students gained valuable insights into life as cabin crew, the importance of customer service and the career opportunities available at Jet2.
The career pathway series welcomed Concord Hotels for another inspiring career talk with Level 3 Catering students, using their immersive spaces at Hackney and Redbridge Campuses they connected students across campuses for an informative session. By connecting their Epping and Redbridge campuses, they enabled students on both sides to engage in this shared experience—an exciting step forward, with many more to come.
Nationwide Building Society Deliver Customer Service Insights
Next in the career pathways sessions, New City College welcomed Nationwide Building Society Insights Team. The immersive spaces were connected at Epping and Redbridge campuses to deliver an engaging workshop to business students providing insights into working in Customer Service.
The hands-on session designated students with a task, that gave insights into customer strategies and problem solving. The ClassView session supported in-person learning and remotely across campuses and led up to students presenting to each other and the Nationwide team.
Connecting Minds, Connecting the Arts.
The career pathways sessions also collaborated with Higher Education, as Media Students at New City College were connected to the University of Creative Arts to deliver a session on everything from the media career landscape to what to expect at university.
The immersive spaces at Epping and Redbridge campuses were linked for this cross-campus session, enabling participants to share in the experience and collaborate effectively.
